5. Watch Conan Liu's intern year videos (especially ICU)

6. Be Nice to everyone !

7. Checklist can help you stay organized

8. Figure out a systemic way to pre round/ chart review and stick to it

9. A multicolored pen and checklist will be a life saver !

10. Get a sweet treat for the night shift and eye mask for the next day

11. Always carry a high protein snack in your pocket for yourself and your coresidents

12. Buy a Roomba, find an auntie/company that delivers meals prep, buy blackout curtains

13. Take time for your yourself. The days are long but they fly by

14. Be friendly with the nurses

15. Bring your own pillow and or blanket to your overnight call shift

16. Live next to the hospital thank me later.
